Kurt... Lily and James are gone. Is this normal?

Annie, how are you doing? How's the baby? Can I come see him?

No, it isn't. There are some great things that happen, like the fact that they were here at all, even if they died. Having them taken just makes you lose hope. I know how it feels. Fair doesn't have much to do with this place sometimes.

I know. I think the same thing when I see myself on TV.

I am starting to agree with you on that, Kurt.

And... how do you deal with it?

As aggravating as it is, it also doesn't change. Our hosts giveth and taketh away, or however the saying goes. I hate the fact that we really can't control it.

I was really bad about it. I would take it really personally, and it was embarrassing. I try to look at it from a more objective stance now, and I've stopped watching every show. It's really hard. What do you think of the books?

I think the books have a pretty good grasp on what has happened. At least, up to my third year any way, I haven't gotten too much past the third book.

It's pretty weird though. I know. I have no idea how all of our little, not-so-great moments were captured on camera.

I can see where the fourth book would get a little hard for you.

If there is a book for each year at Hogwarts... the fourth book would be my fourth year...

And yes. I am not sure if I want to read the rest of the books....

I can imagine. I know things get a little - intense, scary, crazy, sad. It has to be hard for you, and I know it's hard to resist, especially since it's like reliving it. You just have to make the choice that's right for you.

However, if you want to put the books down, and want to get out, I am definitely offering to show you around the city. It's kind of fun, and it really does take your mind off of this stuff.

I would gladly take you up on being shown around the city! I think that would be fun, and that way I don't have to think about the other books and what I have left to read.

Exactly. With all of that, time to relax and take in the sights is just the ticket, and it really is a big city. There is something for everyone. What kind of things do you like?

I think you are quite right. I believe it would give me time to keep my mind off things, off the books and such. It isn't good to focus on those things.

I am pretty much up for anything. I like loads of things... I don't know much about the city, I only really know about the Quidditch supply store.

Exactly. We will find something you like. I know the shopping district really well, but there is all kinds of food, and movies, and pretty much everything you can think of.
