John, giving you access to my room does not mean I want to to touch the experiments. It was an inconvenience the first time to acquire the severed head. I require you to replace the one you contaminated.

That seems like a great story, but I don't think there will be a day when I'll believe it. I've come to understand that sometimes even I may not be able to trust what I see alone. But there is always an explanation that has nothing nothing to do with the supernatural.

So I think I will turn down your offer.

I think that is quite a strange thing to say considering where you are.

Are you implying that I've fallen into a 'magic world'?

I would think having gone from what is your normal home to this one means you have indeed. Or do you normally find room and board in a castle such as this?

I have been abducted before, and taken to places just as ornate.

You're smart. Go outside at night and look up into the sky. Those are the wrong constellations. The moon is red. You're not even on the same planet anymore.

I've never been fond of the solar system. But the colour of the moon intrigues me.

Pardon me for being offensive when I say this but you'd have to be completely daft to think you were simply abducted by any normal means. Did you not read the note left for you?

The slip of paper? I've read it. It's probably tacked onto the wall somewhere, while I piece together what exactly is going on. Though to be fair, I've been in worse situations I believe.

Not everything is a mystery. Some things are meant to be taken at face value.

No, not everything is a mystery. But I would certainly say that being abducted and having no initiative to return to where you've come from is quite the mystery.

Maybe it's as simple as that. We were brought here to be brought here, the end, no mystery.

It must be so nice, not being me. So simple.
