"Have you traveled much? Other than skiing, I mean." He only ever really traveled for work or to see his family, but during the war he'd spent time in America and in Italy, and his family still had a flat in Rome and his mother's apartment in Paris. Technically he could still pop over to any of them any time he liked. Of course, the reminder to himself that he was broaching on a topic he didn't really want to discuss caused his face to warm.
