RP: Ice Skating in New York
Characters: Bill Weasley and Lavender Brown
Date: Wednesday 13 January
Setting: Ice skating in NYC’s Rockefeller Center
Summary: Bill has this week’s date with Lavender.
Warnings: TBD

As much as Bill wanted to spend more time with Melinda, he figured for the sake of the show he should also go on dates with others – especially since he had an off-the-books date with Melinda for sometime soon. Besides, she had gone out with Stephen last night, and he thought it was only fair for her to have a break now. And he liked Lavender from what little he’d talked to her, and thought she’d be a fun date for something like this.

He gave the brunette a wide grin as he managed to turn around to skate backwards. It hadn’t been as long as one would think since he’d been on the ice, and it was coming back to him quickly again. They’d gone only a couple of years ago, as a family, to some place in France where there’d been skating, and he’d taken Victoire and Dominique out on the ice. He had fond memories of that part, even if Fleur had been bitter that she hadn’t been out on the ice – even though he had said he’d watch the children so she could have a turn.

“So, have you been skating often?” he asked, shifting his weight so he’d keep moving at a moderate pace.
