Lavender almost glowed with joy from being in his arms, though the sensible part of her told her things might not be easy once she was back at work and he had his own business to take care of. But for now that was drowned out by absolute delight. How had she fallen for him so hard? She wasn't sure she wanted to know; there was something serendipitous about connecting with this man who fitted with her so well.
