Modly Announcments (1) Make sure to run the friend add button again. We lost a handful of characters in the process of moving, so if there is anyone you have backstory with that you want included as game canon, please comment to this post. Characters we lost include: John Dawlish, Davey Gudgeon, Molly Weasley, Emmeline Vance, Glenda Crook, Regan Wood, Millicent Bagnold, Laura Prickley, Damocles Belby*, Barty Crouch, Jr.*, & Dedalus Diggle*. (The ones marked with *, we're waiting on confirmation from the player that they did, in fact, drop the game or character.)
(3) Committees are officially starting with our re-opening here at IJ. If you are interested in being on the plot/prompt committee, or the news/gossip committee, comment here. More about committees will be posted this week. The plot and direction of the community is going to be growing darker and the war more obvious, as you may have noticed with the plot that is beginning with Florence Anweller. This is just a heads up notice, for our wonderful players.
Birthdays January 9th - Severus Snape (Last Week) January 13th - Peter Pettigrew January 15th - Landon Aubrey January 18th - Lucinda Vance
Prompts Prompt 1 - Sunday, January 13th Rumors, Rumors, Rumors! There's a 'Secrets Sheet' being passed around school, everyone's dirty deeds are inked on there, whether they're true or not. The paper is handwritten, but no one can really pin down the author. The rumors range from right out lies to half-truths and maybe they've actually made some correct predictions. Who wrote them?
Prompt 2 - Tuesday, January 15th Is it just you or are the ghosts of Hogwarts acting odd? More so than normal. It seems that they're all on edge and a little "spooked" themselves. Has anyone seen the Bloody Baron? He's not been around a lot this week and Peeves is starting to get out of control! The songs the poltergeist is coming up with have been turning pretty scandalous.
Prompt 3 - All Week People are unhappy with the way the ministry is being run - there are flyers being passed around about a protest being held in the beginning of February to call for the removal of the Minister of Magic. It's said to take place in Diagon Alley but business owners are not very happy at the attention it will bring - will such a big gathering attracted another bad incident?
Prompt 4 - Thursday, January 17th Students are told during dinner that Hogsmeade trips, until further notice, have been cancelled. This is due to the attack at Kings Cross, and the quickly increasing security threats in the Greater Wizarding World. Sure, this might be the safer option, but that doesn't mean students are going to like losing Hogsmeade.
Prompt 5 - Saturday, January 19th Hufflepuff v. Slytherin Quidditch! At least students can rest assured that they aren't losing Quidditch! (Date postponed a week due to the hiatus of the community this past week)
