Ms. Foster, while I understand your resentment for me, understand that it's been over seven years since then and, for you, perhaps even longer depending on when you were brought here.

You were, in fact, recruited into S.H.E.I.L.D. With our resources, you attempted an artificial wormwhole. It would have been difficult for you to obtain much of those resources on your own. I'm assuming you come before Loki attacked the Earth, or else you'd remember S.H.E.I.L.D. protected you from him then as well.

You seem to be happy here. My suggestion is to focus on the here and now rather than the past which can't be changed.
