Who: Kate Bishop and Open
When: Thursday Afternoon
Where: On her way to the apartment complexes
What: Kate has just returned to Madison from her canon update. She's grumpy, tired, got pulled from fighting a bunch of fire demons, has been babysitting a demon god (god demon?), had to deal with a cult of vampires and stupid boyfriends (and ex-boyfriends), supervillains, and a whole bunch of other crap. She might pull a bow on you.
Warnings: Language. Cult talk. Vampire things. Boys are stupid. Flirting with gods? Stabbing ghosts. Lots of things to talk over.
Status: Open/In-Complete
In the back of her mind where logic usually hid away when Kate was in this sort of mood, she remembered this town. Vaguely at first, but it was there. She remembered there were a lot of people from different times and places. Kate knew she didn't live where she was headed but she desperately needed a familiar face. Someone who would let her talk in tangents without much interruption.
America wasn't here. Neither were Billy and Teddy. If she couldn't have any of those three, she was glad to have Clint. Despite being from well being in Kate's past, he was familiar with their world. He knew just what sort of bullshit it could drop on them without warning.
It was as though she lived in Madison Valley except without the Dome. Not a great thought, but it was still home. Both places were.
She had looked better. A few burn marks, bruises, and cuts built character, though. Kate knew she had enough scars here and there to make someone nervous. That was what happened when you chose this lifestyle, though. It was what happened when you went up against gods, super-powered individuals, and other beings that normal mortals shouldn't ever face off with.
Pinaka's string sparked a bit as Kate continued trudging along toward the apartments. "Yeah, yeah. It's weird here, too. At least it smells better than wherever Sebastian was storing you, right?"
