With a sigh Lowell looked down at the stack of papers still needing to be graded; the stack of ungraded ones still outweighing the papers he had managed to get through already by a fair bit, and instead of reaching for the next one the Brit reached for his half filled glass. A gulp or two was all it took to consume the fireball cinnamon whiskey. After licking his lips, and taking a moment to savor the sweet burn of the alcohol, Tracey left his seat to head to the bar in order to refresh his now depleted drink. Oh as painfully boring as the schoolwork could be, it was a far cry better than simply sitting around in his flat and doing nothing at all.
Granted after that mishap last week ago; where he had been struck by a car, went into Full On Zombie Mode, and ending up tussling with that strange man who had healed his injuries...well the thought of never leaving his apartment had crossed Lowell's mind a few times. However he had a job to do, and while the grading of papers and tests wasn't much fun, he did enjoy getting to perform and to teach others how to play the guitar as well. While his students weren't numerous the few that he did have seemed to possess some natural talent. Which in turn made the whole experience of teaching them all the more enjoyable. Here and now though Tracey knew he'd need a bit more spicy booze if he had any hope of making it through the next batch of paper grading. So as he reached the bar, and waited to catch the bartender's attention, his gaze drifted over to the few other patrons.
