"Come out, Sombra."
She chuckled lightly under the cover of her stealth screen before showing materializing in front of her friend. If asked, McCree wouldn't necessarily call Sombra a friend or foe. She was an equal opponent whom he just happened to have a bit of history with. It was hardly complicated. Not like his history with Ashe but it wasn't straight forward either. People were always different during the holidays, weren't they?
"Calm down, amigo. I'm right here."
"Yeah. I can see that. Did you get what I asked for?"
Rolling her eyes, Sombra shook her head. "No fun, Jesse McCree. Of course, I have what you asked for. Do you really have so little faith in me?" Her pout was clearly visible even under the cover of the darkness. McCree had left the comfort of his bed and his wife to meet with Sombra. Much like he had done with the transportation units, McCree had employed Sombra to gather information about the portal. If Ella wanted to spend an afternoon together in a city he wasn't familiar with? McCree wanted to be prepared.
"Just fill me in already. I ain't got time to stand out here like this. Besides, if you think dealin' with me is bad? I'd hate for one of the pack to get a whiff of you." It was McCree's turn to look amused at Sombra's expression. He wasn't worried about her safety, though. It would be stupid to start shooting or use any sort of violence on Pack territory. She was lucky they weren't converging as it was. McCree could only assume it was because he was present as well. He'd have to chat with them about the details one day.
"City's old. Like the period of time we spent in the west. You'll do find hefting that Peacekeeper of yours around without any question. Might get some looks with the arm." There was a brief moment that Sombra nearly reached out to touch McCree's robotic arm. It was another fascinating piece of technology from their time. One that Sombra would give quite a bit for even a second alone with. To dissect the tech and make it her own? It was limitless.
"See? That wasn't so hard, was it?" he asked as he shook his head. "Appreciate the help." Sombra sighed as she took a step back toward the shadows.
"I'm keeping your tab in order, McCree. Don't forget that." She grinned with a wave of her fingers before disappearing completely. It was likely she had used a translocator for a quick escape. It wasn't a surprise to McCree. Not at all.
He wouldn't forget what he owed her. She wouldn't let him.
