WHO: Daisy Johnson & Matt Murdock.
WHAT: Daisy is drinking, Matt checks on her.
WHERE: Lou's.
WHEN: Monday night.
WARNINGS: Possibly language, talk of death/violence.
STATUS: Closed/Ongoing.
Daisy hated the dome right now. She hated everything and just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry until she couldn't cry any more. The only thing was she'd tried that and it hadn't really done anything but made her feel tired. She'd tried to sleep and hadn't been able to do that either so here she was at Lou's trying to drink herself into oblivion. Maybe not the smartest idea she'd ever had but it was the only thing she could think to do right now seeing as she couldn't go hard core vigilante like she did last time she'd lost someone she cared about so much.
At least she wasn't drinking in her apartment alone. She could have done that but she knew drinking all alone was a very bad idea. Being completely alone with her thoughts would only allow her mind to spiral down dark paths that she wasn't entirely sure she was ready to consider. Daisy knew she had friends she could have called on, people who would sit with her and listen to her if she wanted to talk but she didn't really want to talk. She wanted to drown her sorrows and stop the hurt before it dragged her further down into despair.
Of course she should have known at least one of her friends would figure out what was going on with her and come out looking for her. She had just banked on it taking a little longer before one of them found her. Even though she'd already drank more than a healthy amount of whisky she was aware enough that she recognized the heartbeat of someone she'd thought she'd never see again until he'd shown up here. She emptied her current glass and motioned for the bartender to fill it up again. "How did you find me?" she asked without turning towards her friend, knowing he didn't need her to do that for him to hear her even though the bar was a little noisy.
