Five was from a world that relied on technology, from a time when it was much more advanced than anything Madison had to offer. When the power had gone out and the network had gone down she'd found herself cut off from everything she knew, almost from everyone she knew. If it hadn't been the fact she'd been with friends at the cabins she might have been a little freaked out by it all. Not that she'd admitted that to anyone but she knew it had been a very real possibility.
She'd already checked in with everyone she was close to, those she hadn't gone and spoken to personally had received a message from her. There had been part of her that had been worried that someone might have been sent home but that fear had been unfounded thankfully. Five didn't like the thought of losing anyone she'd grown close to.
It wasn't too cold outside so she'd chosen to find somewhere to sit and watch the world go by. The only problem was that left her alone with her thoughts and they strayed to places she maybe didn't want them to. They strayed towards her friends on the Raza, she had no idea if she'd ever see them again and it filled her with a sadness she didn't know how to deal with. They had become her family and now she was here, she had friends and that helped but she still missed them more than she cared to admit. A sound startled her from her thoughts and she wiped at her eyes, only now realizing there were tears in them. Looking around she smiled, hoping they wouldn't see the tears. "Hi," she offered in a cheerful tone she didn't exactly feel.
