Sam didn't mind the snow. Sure it was a drastic change from the warm sunshine the town had experienced just a day earlier, but he was closing in on five years of Madison Valley's weirdness. He wasn't phased by it at all. He was grateful his mind was still his own, and he wasn't a small child.
He headed out even though the snow was coming down at a good, steady pace. It was piling up fast. Sam liked the cold, so he didn't worry about it. He headed into town to do run a few errands. Finding himself in the middle of town by the fountain, he stopped to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the fresh fallen snow.
It really was gorgeous, and Sam was in no great hurry.
