When she'd first showed up here Five hadn't been sure she'd fit in. This place was alien to her, she was from a distant future were more people lived on space stations and ships than on planets like this one. She thought she'd never feel right here but that had quickly changed when people had been so welcoming and helpful. While Madison Valley wasn't the Raza it was a pretty nice place to be and she actually liked it here.
She'd made some friends since arriving here but today she was out alone, she'd gone for a walk and decided to get a hot chocolate before heading back to the apartment. She had a hat pulled down over her ears, green hair sticking out from under it at odd angles because of the scarf she had round her neck and tucked into her jacket. With her hot chocolate purchased she'd wrapped her gloved hands around the cup and headed back outside. For a moment she looked around before deciding to sit down at one of the outside tables.
One of the things Five had found she enjoyed doing here was watching the world go by, it was something she'd never really gotten the opportunity to do back home but here was a different story. There was no need to be constantly looking over her shoulder or working out some insane problem to help her crew out. For the first time in what felt like a long time Five could just enjoy the quiet moments like this. As people walked past she smiled at them, if they smiled back she gave a little wave, it was an invitation to join her if they wanted but she didn't know if anyone would.
