Eddie didn't stop glaring at Chris, but he shrugged a little. "Yeah. He can wait out here." He didn't really want the guy around while he was talking to Jill, because he had a feeling that there was going to be personal stuff involved in this conversation. And he was very confused and anxious about that.
He stepped out of the doorway so that Jill could enter his very spartan apartment. "Would you like something to drink? I have..." He blushed. "Um, water." He hadn't bothered to go grocery shopping. He wasn't much of a cook. Instead, he was pretty much living on Hinkle burgers and junk food. It was good his metabolism was as high as it was.
