It was very reassuring that every single test was negative, but he wasn't sure he could relax enough to have some time with her like that. Bucky was still wound too tightly and he did honestly half expect that there was something wrong with the tests and that she was pregnant.
"Tomorrow," he replied even as he wrapped his arms around her again. "After your sister confirms that you're definitely not pregnant." A blood test would be absolute proof and then he'd be able to relax. It was silly and probably too much even still, but the sheer terror and panic that he'd felt when the thought had first occurred to him was only just now dissipating. Bucky really just wasn't in the mood after that scare.
"Can we just...I just want to go to bed and hold you all night." He wanted to be close to her but anything more than that wouldn't be real right now.
