The Room of Requirement looked a great deal like the Gryffindor Common Room at the moment and that hadn't been what Hermione had expected when she'd thought of a comforting place to have a spot of tea with Ron. She'd kept a close eye on the network after the trip to the old west and she'd seen the conversation between him and that girl, Dagny. It concerned her primarily because right now, the girl was some sort of nebulous teenager age and that was quite a sticky spot to be in. Given the nature of Dagny's life cycle, she didn't want Ron to get mixed up in something that could be very awkward without him being fully aware of the situation.
She just knew she had to approach this the right way. Hermione'd spoken with Oz about it even, worried in part that she was so worked up about this because perhaps she might have some latent feelings for Ron, but that had quickly been disproven the more she talked to her boyfriend. It had been very nice to be Mrs Osbourne, though it might be a bit far off for them in this time period. Talking with Oz really had just reinforced that Ron was a dear friend and someone she didn't want to see blindsided in any way.
Hermione'd sent word to him that she wanted to speak with him about something important and would he join her for tea, offering up the Room of Requirement as a setting. The door was there for him to enter at the back of Magic Alley and when it opened, she offered him a warm smile. "Turned out I was missing a bit of home," Hermione commented as she gestured for him to join her at the table they'd often done their homework at when they'd been at school.
