WHO: Daisy Johnson & Jemma Simmons.
WHAT: Checking in.
WHERE: Jemma's home.
WHEN: Early afternoon.
WARNINGS: TBD.
STATUS: Closed/Ongoing.
There was no way to deny now that things were drawing to an end. The sun not coming up was definitely a bad sign, not that all the other signs before that weren't bad but the sun not rising was doomsday kinda stuff. Daisy couldn't ignore it now, it was too real. This really was all going to end for them and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
She'd managed to keep the break downs to a minimum, though she had cried on a couple of people more than she'd have liked. At least if she cried with Jemma she knew her friend wouldn't judge her, not that she thought others had but they'd been through a lot together. Jemma was more than a friend, she was Daisy's sister and at least if they were all going home she'd still have her. But now that the reality was sinking in she also hated that Jemma would lose so much. It was why she wanted to go and check on Jemma, if anyone needed a friend right now it was the woman who was going to actually lose her family.
Daisy had grabbed a few things and headed over to Jemma's. It was eerie walking there in the dark when it should have been broad daylight. She reached the house in no time and walked up to knock on the door. When the door opened she immediately pulled Jemma into a hug, being mindful not to squeeze her too tight. "How are you holding up?" she asked as she pulled back and offered her friend a smile.
