This was quite an unexpected turn of events, but Dream being, well, Dream, he wasn't worried at all. In fact, he was kind of glad at the chance of leaving this place. He never liked it, didn't like the fact that it kept him trapped. Thank god his sister was here or he might go crazy.
And Setsuna too, of course. Ever since they started talking in her dreams, he'd come to enjoy her company. He didn't think he would or at least, he didn't think he'd continue their conversations, but he did and sometimes he even looked forward to them.
Once he found out everyone would be sent home soon, he decided to pay her a visit. Sure he'd still see her. As long as she dreamed, he'd always see her. But even so, he still wanted to have a chat with her. So he popped into her dream of Pluto and awaited her arrival.

Setsuna faced the eventual return home with the stoic grace she bore everything with. But she was torn, inside, because she liked it here. Her queen didn't have to fight, hotaru was safe…
She kept her head up, going through the motions of the day like there was nothing wrong. She got the girls to bed and turned in herself, content to dream. She knew she'd see Dream again, she was sure she'd remember this to a degree, so she looked forward to that.
She smiled as she saw him waiting for her and made her way over. “To think this is how it ends here.” She said softly.

Dream turned when he heard Setsuna approach, his eyes softening a little as he gazed upon her. "This has surprised even me," he admitted. But he wasn't too bothered by it. He hated being surprised, sure, but all worlds must end he supposed.
"How are you?" he asked. It was both how she was doing at this moment and how she felt knowing they'd be leaving this place soon.
***
Setsuna smiled gently at him as she moved to sit near by. “I am well enough.” she said honestly as she tucked her hair back and settled. “It is not the first time a world has ended around me.” she meant it, too. It would not be the last.
Though, she’d prefer not to do it all over again if she didn’t have to. Oh well, what was, was. “And yourself? I am sure you as nonplussed over it as I am, in the end, but still…” they’d built lives here, as awkward as they might be.
**
"That's good to hear," Dream nodded. He had figured she wouldn't be too upset about this world ending. She wasn't like most people who weren't too happy or even panicking, but he still wanted to know how she was. So he was glad she wasn't too bothered.
"I am fine. A little surprised, as I've said, but I'm not bothered by the sudden events." It wasn't like it would be the end of him. Even if he did die, another Dream would appear. It might not be him exactly but still sort of the same.
***
“Indeed. It is not the end of the world.” she shrugged gently, not really anyway. It was the end of this place, but since when did that truly matter to a woman who only reincarnated back on Pluto when her time on Earth was over? She pushed her long hair back and smiled over at him.
“I am glad to know you, better, here than I do back home.” she said gently as she looked over. “It has been an absolute pleasure.” Setsuna offered him a warm smile, gentler than her other ones.
***
"It's just the end of one," he said simply. There were indeed plenty of other worlds. If he hadn't been aware now, he certainly was upon arriving in Madison Valley and finding out people came from all kinds of worlds. And while this one was ending, they'd live in in theirs. So it wasn't a completely bad thing, even if some thought it was.
"The pleasure has been all mine," he replied and he meant that sincerely. "I am glad my sister suggested I meet you."
***
"Exactly. We are no strangers to the end of the world." She smiled a touch. She'd seen the end multiple times, it was nothing new. It was just one more thing.
"I'm glad that she suggested it, too. I'm glad I was open to it." There was a hint of a blush as she looked out over.the stars, smiling happily.
