It had been a week since he first arrived in town. A week since the bleach blonde vamp's world had been flipped upside down. Still Spike was always one to bounce back with relative ease, and he was doing his best to adapt to both the place and to his changing fortunes. The life of a vampire was normally simple; hunt, feed, kill, and continue on. However since meeting Buffy, since hearing all that she had to say...and finding himself believing her too. Well this particular undead man was still at something of a loss when it came to figuring out just what he was supposed to do. She had mentioned that they fought side by side, and faced down the likes of the First. However from what William could tell this place was severely lacking in the 'things that need killing' category.
Oh it helped to have made a new friend or two. Helped that he could spar with Rogue, and that she was willing to provide him with blood as well. Yet with the need to kill, and the need to feed, both handled in a fashion...it left Spike unsure of what else to do with his time. For the most part his days and nights alike had been filled with watching the tele, or going for a stroll. That free time gave him the chance to think and contemplate just what it meant for a monster to try and be a man. But sadly all that spare free time also meant he had large spans of silence and boredom now in his life as well. Before Madison Valley William would've just taken his dark little princess out to feed and have a spot of fun. Granted that kind of fun was the very sort that he was trying to avoid now though.
However when he reached out to Buffy, and she agreed to join him for wings, conversation, and maybe a bit of a dance as too...well it gave the vamp something to focus on. Something to look forward to too. When the sun finally set he was on the move, dressed in his usual black tee, black jeans, and that leather coat. After arriving a bit early he waited out front of the place, just smoking a cigarette and mulling over his thoughts while awaiting Buffy's arrival.
