Not by choice. Benji got sent home, I guess. He was here and then he wasn't. And the people say that happens a lot. I really don't think Benji would have left, at least not without me, if he had a choice.

Where are you? Have you found your apartment yet?

It's quiet, it's spread out, some of the natives are very suspicious of us and don't like us, but many have come to not care, in the four years or more since this started happening.

People come here from alternate universes and up and down timelines, from the far past to the distant future.

And occasionally weird things happen.

Random people start showing up one day and your town gets covered by a dome at the same time, no leaving, and no communicating out or in, and some of the strangers have powers. Wouldn't you be a little freaked out or worried?

Yes, like people being aged up to older, or down to younger, ages, their genders or bodies being swapped, and many more odd things.

Yes. It could happen. He could come in from a point in your future, or from your past.
