That caught Briar's attention. That was a big part of his knowledge too. Part of Earth Temple's work had always been to prepare the medicines the healers at Water Temple used. Before they'd gone travelling, he and his teacher had spent a lot of their time learning medicinal plants and their uses.

"What'd you learn all that for?" he wondered.
