Christian was at Staples as well, but for different reasons. Ever since he'd thrown himself out there for cooking lessons, his phone had practically exploded with notifications from people. He couldn't teach all of them at the same time, so he was going to have to learn how to divvy up his time between them all and create a schedule of sorts.
Eventually, after he'd been slowly wandering through the aisles and looking at all the calendars and planners, he eventually found himself standing next to Sydney. When he noticed it was her, he greeted her with a friendly nudge. "Hey there, Syd. Exploring your natural habitat, I see?" he teased lightly. "I'm trying to find a planner. Mention the word "cooking" on the network and I've suddenly become the Chef Gordon Ramsay of Madison Valley." The comment made him chuckle as he grabbed a pack of pens and pencils off the hooks. "I met this kid on the network - Alphonse. He seems pretty cool."
Scanning the walls for more supplies, he picked up a pack of sticky notes while he was at it. "He mentioned alchemy, you know. He's a really smart kid, I think you'd get along with him."
