"Diana," she replied, relief written all over her features as Talia agreed to her request. "There's no need to move your things. I don't wish to be an intrusion." Truly, she just wanted a small amount of peace and she hoped that she would find some in the few things that reminded her of home. She would have preferred to be nearer to Bruce, but that would have been far too selfish.
"Thank you," she added, inclining her head as a sign of respect as she settled in the chair on the opposite corner. Diana angled herself so she could see Talia within her line of sight, with only her elbow resting on the table at the smallest point. She didn't want to cause any kind of distraction, because she could see the other woman was hard at work. She was curious about what she was working on, but didn't want to ask. Instead, she began to read her book, not wanting to presume about conversation either. She had interrupted, after all.
