Sonya hadn't been an officer for so long that she couldn't pick on the signs. Even Cassie wasn't completely closed off and sat herself down next to her, though she noticed the baby still kept hold of her wolf.
"I don't mind. You rest up on the sofa and if she gets too rowdy, just say so-or if you need anything, period." She nearly said shout-out, but she didn't even look like she had the energy for it. "I should get to the groceries and clean up a bit."
Because god knew Ella was upset enough, she didn't need to have to worry about the state the kitchen was in.
