Re: sometime in the morning
Sonya had actually read the later. It had been staring her in the bookstore while she was looking more for material to read to Cassie, and against her better judgement she decided to give it a scan.
"Not since I left the Academy," She admitted. "I might pick it up again at some point, but it's difficult to find time to relax enough to sit down and actually enjoy a book."
Partially for time, partially because she couldn't bring herself to relax enough to read a full book. So much was always on her mind enough to enjoy. "I have read part of the zombie version-call it a morbid sense of curiosity. There were definite creative marks for weaving in the zombie plot to the original book, but sometimes the author tries to be too tongue-in-cheek and it pulls away."
When the talk of ninjas as bodyguards came around, she had to put the book down. For all she could suspend disbelief (though in a book with zombies she didn't need to), employing stealth warriors as bodyguards instead of what they were meant to do was pushing things.
