Kara & Bucky
Bucky had always been a fan of living life to the best of their ability but always in the context of other people. Steve had always deserved to have every experience possible in life, and he'd considered it his responsibility to make sure his best guy got to have those opportunities. It wasn't the same with Kara, but it was enough to make him feel like he was on even footing again.
"Like we'd leave without hitting the Ferris Wheel," he replied easily, putting his arm around her shoulder as they walked toward the upside down ride being called Bonzai. The fair seemed a lot more public than their dates at some of the restaurants around town, but Bucky was trying not to worry too much about it. They were safe here. Safe enough to step out with his best gal and not have to devote a large part of his attention to monitoring threats. He just kept track of the people around them.
There was a little bit of a line, so Bucky turned to her with a smile, his hands always in contact with her whether it was on her waist or holding her hand. "I've got good ideas sometime," he teased.
