It had been a rough few weeks in the Danvers/Sorrentino household ever since Paige and Lucas's spell went haywire and made everyone tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Kate was mostly past her hurt feelings over Nick not being completely honest with her from the start about his intentions to attempt a relationship with Rachel at home, but there were still moments of awkwardness that came up, especially when they were taking care of Rocco.
Tonight, they left the baby with Jeremy and headed to the fair together. She remembered how much fun they had visiting it last year and was hoping that they could have another silly evening with no responsibilities to get them back on track.
"I'm not winning you a giant giraffe this year," she said, tugging his hand towards the area where the rides were set up.
