Diana wasn't entirely sure how to handle the Christmas shopping this year. Rather, she had no idea how to shop for Fela. She hadn't known the woman nearly long enough to know her likes and dislikes -- not that she'd known Alicia long enough, either -- and she didn't feel right getting Fela some random generic gift, not when the other woman had been so unbelievably kind as to open her home to Diana and Cassie.
She stopped in front of one shop, studying the contents of the window display critically, her nose wrinkled slightly. It was a clothing store, which just somehow didn't seem right as a place to shop for Fela. Not that it wasn't a perfectly adequate kind of place to shop for her in general, but Diana was trying to find a gift that was equal parts "Merry Christmas or the equivalent of your world" and "Thank you for giving me a place to stay so I don't end up with some crazy scary foster family". Clothing just didn't seem to cut it.
Sighing, Diana tucked her hair back behind her ears, stuffed her hands in her pockets, and turned to meander on.
