"They're idiots," he said. "And unfocused." As a noble though it was important for Ciel to have a well rounded education, and given his family's wealth he was provided with the the best tutors that Britain had to offer. And he remained caught up on current events. It was only sensible and the smart thing to do. In this world though, he was behind 125 years and at a disadvantage. Most of his free time was spent catching up on history and advances made over the last century and a quarter.
"That's why your system is inefficient," he said pointedly, then relented a moment later. "But enough of that prattle, I don't know enough about American politics in 2013 to have an opinion worth listening to." He touched his bandaged knee then looked at Thomas.
"Thank you," he said and got to his feet with all the rigid grace of a nobleman, straightening his coat as he did so. "I failed to introduce myself. I am Ciel Phantomhive. You've provided me a great service and were I at home I would compensate you for the inconvenience, as it stands.. what I've offered you is what I have to give."
