Re: You know the deal - open
"Sounds like they should all be forcibly sterilized to me." Georgia remarked, "Though I'd rather have been forgotten about personally. My brother and I are replacement goldfish: Our parents got us when their real kid died." She talked about it easily; Georgia didn't feel any shame over the situation, and her and Shaun's whole lives had always been public, so it wasn't much different. It wasn't important enough to keep a secret.
If Georgia Mason's face were capable of softening it would have done so, "Sorry. That sucks. I die and it fucks my brother up." It was as close as she could get to condolences.
"That depends on which theory is right. My timeline is apparently advanced enough to clone people and age them up, so if somebody is doing this all on purpose, it's probably fine if we die, because they'll either have the time traveling or cloning abilities to stick a replacement us in our timeline so nothing gets screwed up."
"If, on the other hand, we are here on accident, then if we die, we'll probably cause a paradox. I wonder if that's why the barrier is in place: So they don't lose any of us and make anything explode temporally while they figure this stuff out." She shrugged.
