Children are amazing when they want to learn. There was a group that came to the museum and there were so many intent on learning. After all my centuries alive it is good to see such wonder in children.

I, myself, had an amazing teacher centuries ago. I am happy when the children are happy and wish to engage in learning.

I had many teachers of what humans would call "advanced years".

They knew a lot and I respected them and valued what they were teaching, but sometimes...

Oftentumes the outside and my bow were louder calls than that of the oftentimes stuffy classroom.

I was the only child among the Amazons. When I decided I did not want to listen to my mentor I went and watched my aunt as she taught the warriors. From then? She taught me the ways of the warrior despite my mother not wanting that for me.

What is an Amazon?

Your mother did not want you to learn how to fight?

Amazons are female warriors. There are no men among our people and we come from a place known as Themiscyra.

Our queen, my mother, did not want her daughter becoming a warrior like the rest of our people. She was afraid and I understand why now.

I did not know that there are places that do not have both men and women among their mumber.

Then again, in my world, there are other races that are sometimes rude and say that the reason no one ever sees women dwarves among the warriors is because you cannot tell them apart from the men. That is both a lie and incredibly indulting.

Do you mind me asking what she was afraid of?

In my world there is only one place where there are no men and that is Themiscyra. A place where no man can go or find, as decreed by the gods.

Though, my Steve Trevor found it.

Prophesies.
