The swordsman, as far as he was concerned, hated this maze of a place. It was far worse than Kaya's mansion. He'd managed to get himself turned around in Madison Valley so many times that he'd decided to just sit down off to the side somewhere. It meant that he wasn't in anyone's way. That he couldn't be in anyone's way. If Luffy, Sanji, Nami, or Usopp were there then he'd have no problem navigating the place. No, that wasn't true. Though it would mean he'd have someone to tell him 'You're going the wrong way.'
His hand rests on the hilt of the sword at his side and he tries to think of where he needed to be. Those people who had approached him when he'd first showed up had said that money was on the plastic card. He still wasn't sure how anyone stuck berries on a plastic card. Just as the little device they gave for talking wasn't a transponder snail. It did, however, make talking to others on the network a little bit easier.
Food was, unfortunately, going to be a necessity. Even if he couldn't cook. As long as he had rice or a good place to get onigiri from then he'd be set. For now, though, he wasn't sure where to go in the maze that was Madison Valley. Maybe he'd get up and start wandering off again. Not that he thinks it'll get him to his destination, but that was beside the point.
When he does go to get back up though he gives a nod to a young woman that he didn't know," I'll be out of your way." He's pretty sure where he'd been sitting might have been in her way.
