Josie loved the fact that her mother would read books that she had read, so that the two of them could then talk about them. It certainly made for yet another thing the two of them could bond over. It just meant so much to Josie that her mom cared enough to get involved in the things she was interested in. Not a lot of parents really took that time anymore, so Josie would be forever grateful to her mother for being there for her in such a big way. Even with everything Caroline had going on in her own life, she still made time for both of her daughters, and that just spoke to the kind of person Caroline really was.
"I would like that" she replied, nodding her head slightly in understanding to the fact that it would have to be after the wedding. She wanted her mother to have the wedding of her dreams, and she wouldn't dream of asking her mother to put anything else before that. "How are the wedding plans going?" she asked, wanting to show that she was willing to do the same thing for her mother that her mother always did for her.
It felt so right when her mother wrapped her arms around her; these were the times that she felt the safest. She knew that her mother would never let anything happen to her, and even though Josie could take care of herself, it felt nice to know that she always had her mother in her corner.
"Well, you know that if you need any help I am always happy to pitch in" she added, wanting her mother to know that she would always be there for her. Sure, she may not know Stefan that well, but she could tell that her mother loved him and for Josie that was all that mattered.
And there it was, it was almost like her mother knew that Josie had something she needed to talk about. "Well, I did meet someone"....
