Josie understood that things might be uncomfortable for a while with her friend, but she also knew that them putting in the work to stay friends was what mattered. So, she nodded her head when Landon said it was a good thing, because she whole heartedly agreed with him. "It is" she added as a verbal affirmation to her feelings on the matter.
"That is what I have heard' she admitted, but knowing the truth about her own future honestly made her hope that being here would make things different. It had sounded to her like there was a lot of things that she wouldn't want to go through. She loved her family and understood why they had to live at the school, but sometimes she had wished she was normal.
"Lizzie has told me enough" she admitted, thinking that there wasn't much else she really wanted to know. "I have just been trying to focus on my life here, and deal with the future as it comes".
