“I think it would as well, but the school I wanted to attend back home rejected me so who knows. But I love the new PI business I had started. Ignoring the fact, I wasn’t able to make much traction before ending up here,” Nancy said with a small nod. At least, she knew when she returned that it’d be right where she was at the cemetery looking at all the missing bodies. The idea was still super weird, then again most things were lately back home.
Nancy listened to what Charly was saying. It was a lot, and if this was back in her world, then she’d probably be questioning it a bit more. Cause it was possible since there were ghosts and then there was Temperance who should’ve been very dead, but had caused so many problems, but she would’ve needed much more in the details department. After everything here, and knowing there were a few around here with time traveling, she was able to keep a much more open mind about the whole thing.
“Not sure if this helps you or not, but A.) from what I hear, we return to the moment we came from. So even if you do say too much or learn anything, you won’t remember when sent home and we won’t remember once sent home, making us unable to do any real damage. B.) I know time can’t change since Ace and I are from different points in time, and things are the same from what I know.” Which proved that maybe people didn’t remember because she was sure if they did, then someone would’ve known by now about things being changed.
“I’d say you should give yourself a break because from what I’ve seen and it looks like you’ve seen, then there is nothing you can do to harm the timeline from the past or future.” Was that comforting? Nancy wasn’t sure, but it was the truth from what she had been seeing around here. There was also what she heard and the research that had been spent into this place that she was looking over.
