“Yes, but the whole thing of the quicker you get it done, the quicker you won’t have to worry about it and can do what you want applies,” she pointed out on the whole grading thing. Though Nancy was fine with not fully rushing through their meal. Both had busy schedules, but Nancy was one who made time for friends. Though lately she had been horrible about it with stress over Ace and then with the ordeals brought to her by the dome. Today was a much needed break from all that…or at least she hoped it was because who really ever knew with this place.
Nodding at the question, “Yeah, I put it off for reasons then recently I had applied only to be rejected causing me to open my own business back home.” There was also the fact that after everything, she had finally learned that her town was where she belonged and to stop with the running. Only now she was in Madison, and there was a school that offered her interest, making it a possible thought for the time being. “If I was to go back it would be in journalism. My love of solving mysteries had me looking at a career as an investigative journalist.” It was either that or PI or even both, but she knew her interest lied with journalism.
A sigh came out at the mention of the truth incident, wanting to forget all about that nightmare. The dome now had the clock started on Ace’s life with no idea how much time he even had. There was nothing the dome could ever do other than keeping him alive that would get her to forgive it; however, she knew it didn’t really care. “Yeah, that whole thing had a lot of information being shared that shouldn’t or wasn’t planning on being told,” she was talking about herself and it sounded like Charly as well. “And what rules were those?” Her eyebrow raised slightly out of curiosity before the question that was tossed in her direction. Leaning back slightly with another sigh. “The whole situation was not ideal and the dome is on my bad list right now for what it did. Had me tell someone very special to me something that he couldn’t know, but now he does.” Charly knew Ace; however, she didn’t know everything on the topic of Ace and what her distant family member had done to him.
