The downside to being one of the few people with multiple history degrees and a willingness to teach was that even if you were technically employed by one college, you ended up roped into guest lectures at the other one. Not that Daniel minded that at all, because if he was being asked over then attendance was voluntary. Which meant that the students actually wanted to listen to him.
Before the lecture, he was in the library to print off handouts and was just wandering around while waiting for the print job to finish when he noticed a large number of books and maps at one table. Books and maps that he recognized.
"Hello. Research project, or just some light reading." To Daniel, that was light reading.
