Lucky had asked Kurt about playing sports, but she was still waiting for an official answer. She had decided that there wasn't any harm in taking the first lesson, s she could see if this was even going to be the her sport of choice. Though from everything she had heard about the game and her own research, she had a feeling that she was going to really like this game. It had just the right amount of physical contact to suit her, and to beat it all her stamina and agility would serve her very well. Of course she would continue with riding and hopefully Kurt would be okay with her taking self defense lessons as well. While she did enjoy school, her favorite things to do was the more athletic activities. So, with all that in mind she actually had a very wide smile on her face as she made her way out onto the field. She was dressed in comfortable attire, so that she would be able to move around as needed. She knew the gear that she would need, but she wasn't about to ask Kurt to buy her all of that stuff if she didn't make the team. So, she would have to borrow gear for this lesson, but she also knew that she would still need to warm up first. So, she started to limber up first, making sure to stretch out her body in all of the right spots. Lucky might appear small, but it was very clear by the way she moved her body when she started to run that there was more to her than meets the eye. She continued to warm up, even doing a few tumbles and flips. She wanted to make sure she was fully loose and prepared for anything that the coach might throw at her. Finally she relaxed slightly, not wanting to completely wear herself out before the lesson could even begin. She started stretching again and watched the edges of the fields for the arrival of the coach. She knew better than to completely let her guard down at any time. |
