Savannah finished work for the day and planned on a night of not moving. After she went to check in on Kol again and give him some blood to drink. The whole Dome deciding on a fucking Medieval Times theme for a week really messed with some people’s heads. Like, where Adam couldn’t marry her because of his whole being a prince thing. But, she knew Kol being in love with his girlfriend’s best friend had been worse.
Today she felt a little antsy too. The whole thing where Adam saw the marks on her neck meant she lied to him. Truthfully, Savannah knew she should tell her boyfriend, but she still needed time to feel as comfortable in a relationship here as she did at home.
After stopping at the store for some apple juice, so she could rehydrate after Kol drank from her, she walked to his place. When Savannah arrived, she knocked, although she knew he could hear and smell her already.

Kol was still dealing with the fact that he’d courted fucking Lydia Martin. That he had kissed her. The thought sickened him and worse, caused him to feel terribly guilty even if he had no control over what this town had done to everyone. He’d already taken several showers since his mind righted itself and currently was sprawled on his leather couch in jeans and a t-shirt. As much as he was grateful to this stupid little town, he also despised it more than anything right now. His anger was simmering beneath the surface and he felt the urge to hurt something.
Being a vampire, his emotions were heightened, particularly ones like anger or sadness. His control over his temper was shaky at best when he heard familiar footsteps coming towards his door. Then Savannah’s familiar scent filled his nose. Right. She was coming over for their feeding session. In his fog of anger, he’d nearly forgotten their little meeting today. The original vampire took a shaky breath and then another before covering the distance to the door and swinging it open.
“Hello, darling,” Kol greeted, stepping aside so she could enter before closing the door behind her and clicking the lock into place.
“Anything I can get you, love? Or do you just want to get right down to business.”

Savannah stepped inside and looked at Kol. Really looked at him. Shit. The witch did a very un-Savannah thing and pulled her friend in for a brief, but tight, hug. When she pulled away, Savannah said, “Hello Kol. I’d ask how you’re doing, but I think your face says everything.”
She wished she could help, but any spell she could think of would only help temporarily. Kol needed time and perhap a punching bag. The tall witch hated everything about this Dome since she woke up on the cruise. Going home didn’t uncomplicate things and the fact it messed with others she cared about? Fuck.
“How about your choice? Do you want to get right to business?” A thought occurred to her. “This offer is good for today only, but would it help if you didn’t compel me to not feel pain?” Savannah really wanted to do what she could to help her friend at the moment. Besides, she trusted Kol. He’d been feeding from her for months now.
