Frigga had missed this place when she had returned home, even if it was only for a short time. Of course she loved her husband, but honestly her feelings about being back there with him had been mixed. He had been so hard on their sons, and in all honesty in a lot of ways she was still angry with herself for allowing it all of those years. She knew that deep down her husband was a good man, but as a father he could sometimes be too harsh with the boys. Of course, Frigga wasn't delusional. She understood that Loki's actions had been his own, but as parents they hadn't done anything to head them off either. Perhaps that was why she could be so much more forgiving and open minded than her husband. And then there was the family that she had here that she didn't have back home....Nora. Frigga had always wanted a daughter that would have this kind of relationship with her. Hela had always been different, clamoring more for Odin's attention. So, this was a welcome change of pace. So, the moment she had arrived one of the first things on her mind was spending some much needed time with her new family. Loki was always busy with work, so she didn't want to bother him. He would make time for her when he could, so Frigga was going to spend some time with Nora and perhaps spoil her a bit. This was just the way Frigga worked sometimes. She wanted to make sure all of her family was cared for and that they had everything they could possibly want. Sure sometimes she had to put her foot down, but just now she wanted to make sure that they had some much needed fun. They had agreed to meet at the Ice Cream Parlor, so that they could splurge a little bit on something sweet which Frigga was actually excited for as well. So, Frigga was sitting at one of the tables a full fifteen minutes earlier than the time they had agreed to, but she hadn't ordered anything. In her mind it would be rude to order before Nora arrived, and besides they might wind up sharing something so she wanted to make sure it would be something that they both liked. |
