Scott and Kol
At the mention of his brother, Kol looked briefly disgusted and shook his head. "No, I am not my brother, mate." Most people might consider Kol worst than his brother actually. Not that he was about to bring that up right this moment. Besides, he figured at this point, it was common knowledge how terrible a being he actually was.
Kol was a lot of things, but blind and dumb was not one of them, particularly when it came to human behavior. He could tell from just one look in the wolf's eyes that he cared deeply for Allison, possibly beyond just friendship which could explain the guilt he saw there too. Obviously, whatever happened between them was over, but Kol felt a brief wave of envy wash over him. It was only the last half of his sentiment that managed to stifle the feeling.
"My only goal is to keep her that way," he replied carefully. "It is the only thing that truly matters to me here." Though, Lydia's words played on Kol's mind constantly. That he would hurt Allison in the end because that was all he was capable of doing.
"I suppose then you are welcome. But I guess we should be giving this place most of the credit. It brought me back so that I could be with her."
