"I'll admit that given our history with your family it's not ideal, but you're also not Klaus." Scott was a firm believer that people's actions made them who they were, not just name or family. He also believed in second chances or, well, maybe third chances when it came to Theo.
Scott felt the need to correct Kol - Allison wasn't just a friend. She was part of his pack and as Alpha, he felt the need to protect her. This need was furthered since he felt like he had already failed her once before, even if he couldn't have done much to prevent it. He didn't though. For one, Scott wasn't sure it would sway Kol in any way and two he wasn't the sort of Alpha that needed that stuff to be known, even if sometimes his wolf instincts 'pawed' at him to do more.
"I'm just glad she's happy. She's... been through a lot." His eyes held all the feelings that came with that including guilt. "And the Dome hasn't been nice to her either. So... thank you."
