“I’d rather find a way to get rid of it all, but if that’s not possible, then it’s my family mess and I should have to deal with it. I may not be all that trained with my magic and not even used it that much; however, I’ll help with whatever you need.” She could admit where her knowledge lacked and let someone else take the reigns on something like this. Nancy may call the shots on most things, but Hope knew more about magic, especially from her own world so she didn’t mind. “I know he wouldn’t; however, he wouldn’t be in this mess if it wasn’t for my family. So he’d have to realize I’m doing it for the right reason.” Ace wouldn’t even be surprised considering how often she put herself in the line of fire, but she was sure he’d be pissed. All worth it if he was alive.
Nancy shook her head at the suggestion on him acting first. “If either of us act, then the hex will activate. Temperance made sure I found myself screwed if I killed her.” Just another reason to her long list of why she really hated her bio dad’s family. Her bio dad wasn’t all that bad, but most of his family were assholes, which also made them her family…sadly. “It’s why I’ve been careful when around him since he has no idea. I have no idea what could happen if I said anything, and knowing her, she’d do something to make sure nothing could be said without punishment.”
It would be the type of evil move from her that Nancy would expect from the woman. “I’ve been looking into this cause while I’ve had no problem on holding off the activation of the hex, I know it will be harder the longer it stays on. Not like I can avoid him and I wouldn’t want to when we’re both stuck in this town.” Back home, it’d be easier with them both busy with jobs and having other people. Here? It was a lot more difficult.
"And if I hadn't said it, thank you for making time to meet and try to help me out." Nancy meant every word and was thankful for the help.
