Shawn knew he should have probably talked to Jules about buying a turtle, but Leo had excited him and he rushed out to get a turtle for the race. And so there he was with his new female turtle he dubbed Turtle Recall. Maybe it wasn't the most feminine of names, but women's equal rights and all that, right?

"Alright. You can do this. I've seen the competition and they don't hold a candle to you." He was lifting up his turtle and giving it a pep talk while they waited to be called to start the race.

	He lifted his chin dramatically as if to say 'how dare you sir' to the woman. He also brought his turtle close to him and started to pet it like it was more of a cat. "Don't listen to her, Recall. 	"I can think of a dozen more interesting things than a turtle race... but Madison has a lot of different people and if you're stuck here long enough, I guess you have to come up with different ideas." 	Dick caught the words that clearly weren't for her. He wasn't so crass as to look around for whoever this Mylo was. The one strange benefit of living in Gotham for as long as he had was you got used to people who talked to voices. It did mean, though, that this girl needed to have someone keep an eye on her. 	He didn't look upset or annoyed. It was actually refreshing. People usually made dick jokes. "It's short for Richard. Dick is a nickname that stuck." He gave a small shrug as if to reaffirm it wasn't a big deal. He did think it was ionic that she said his name was weird when hers was Jinx. "Nice to meet you."
