WHO: Liam Stewart and OPEN
WHAT: Knocking over a display of apples, poor apples
WHEN: Today
WHERE: Walmart
WARNINGS TBD
STATUS: Open/Ongoing
This had been Liam's first weirdness since he'd been here. And it had been a doozy. Thankfully, he had stayed himself, so he had just kind of blended into the background, hoping that he wouldn't be suddenly affected by it, and find himself as someone else. Now, however, it seemed to be over, and he was grateful for that. He felt like he could relax and try to settle back into his life again, something he hadn't felt he could do while everything was messed up. Maybe he and Ruby could even go on that date they'd planned for.
And maybe the place would leave them alone for a while. Regardless, the place was still better than back home. Pretty much everything was, and no bit of weirdness here was going to change that.
He was at Walmart tonight, and because the place had memories from back home and because it was so different here. Here it was a place of plenty, with food he didn't even have names here, and it made him feel secure to know that it was here.
He thought maybe he'd get a bunch of fruit and make a fruit salad for himself and Ruby - something that would probably always be a treat.
One thing that Liam was not used to, though, was the way they piled the apples. So when he took the wrong one from the pile, they all started falling and hitting the floor, and even as fast as he was, using his powers to keep some of them from hitting, it just wasn't fast enough.
