WHO: Lucas Cortez and OPEN Alyssa Gardner WHAT: Buying flowers WHEN: Wednesday morning WHERE: The Florist WARNINGS: Probably not STATUS: Open/Complete
Lucas was actually quite glad that he was getting a bit of reprieve from the eighteen hour days he'd been working before school started. He was a workaholic and loved what he did, but he loved Paige more and he hated the fact that he'd gotten to spend so little time with her over the past weeks. They had plans to look at a house this weekend, and to work on some new spells, which sounded fantastic to him, but he also wanted to send her a little thought of exactly how much she meant to him, which was why he'd gotten up early this morning to make it to the florist before he had to get to work.
He was the first one there, which was not surprising, and he clasped his hands behind his back as he walked around the flowers, trying to find the perfect ones. He wanted something that was pretty, but not roses. They died too quickly and while appropriate at some times were also somewhat overdone.
Paige was not a stereotypical woman, so he refused to send her the stereotypical display of love.
