Who: Kristof Nast and Eve Levine What: Eve finally, almost, has the being seen down (and gets the actual guts to talk to Kristof) When: Tuesday Evening Where: Law Office Rating: low
Eve had been practicing hard to become corporeal. Being able to text on the network was great and everything, but she wasn't a teenager anymore and she wanted to be able to talk and been seen and touch things again. The fact another ghost was better at it than she was annoyed her immensely, even if she could admit she and Xavier had a vastly different situations so she shouldn't logically be annoyed by it. And yet, she was.
Now that she felt like she had it under control, she was making her way to Kristof's office at the law firm. She hoped she hadn't missed him, but somehow this felt easier than showing up in his house and potentially scaring the crap out of his kids. First impressions and all that.
She stopped at the door and raised her hand to knock, then paused. Knocking is a stupid idea. You're a ghost, Eve. It didn't sound like he was on the phone so unless he had the secretary bent over on the desk, she shouldn't be interrupting anything. And if he DID, well, she'd be happy to interrupt that.
Eve stepped through the door and then willed herself to become corporeal. She was sure she could be seen because she was very aware of the amount of effort she had to create. It was a lot less after that Nico did that.. whatever he did.
"Sorry I'm late. Did I miss anything?" Somehow that felt easier to say than 'I miss you' or 'I'm sorry I didn't come sooner' or anything else that could put her heart on her sleeve in front of him before she knew what she was dealing with
