Alyssa and Jason
Who: Alyssa and Jason
What: Running into each other
Where: The Park
When: Thursday after school
Warnings: should be low.

Alyssa had gotten her AP English presentation back and this time got a B+. She’d take it, along with the A- she got on her AP Bio test. She wanted to celebrate, but she needed to be outside. The plants were calling to Alyssa and she felt terribly homesick for Wonderland. She hoped time was frozen back home, as people had mentioned.

But she sat on a bench, head bent towards the sun, not minding the insects speaking to her. She’d noticed none of them mentioned or could mention Wonderland, which was new to her.

As she was talking to a butterfly about her grades, she heard footsteps. Well, whomever it was would get to see her chatting with the insect population.

Jason had seen a lot of strange things in his life, so a girl talking to bugs really didn't freak him out that much. In fact, it was one of the least strange things he'd seen.

He watched her for a few moments before moving a bit closer, smiling slightly.

"Are you really talking to them?"

He wondered if she was a demigod - he figured there had to be a god of bugs somewhere. Right?

Alyssa looked up briefly startled and quickly glanced at the stranger speaking to her. Not bad looking. She smiled and said, "Yeah. I'm really talking to them. They talk to me more often, but this particular butterfly? She's more like a close friend." Honestly, Alyssa spoke to her quite a bit.

"One of the gifts I have from my Wonderland heritage." The butterfly mentioned she'd be back.

"I'm Alyssa," she mentioned, while holding out her hand to shake his.

	"You do? That's so cool. I don't have wings, but I fly by manipulating the winds. It's technically not flying, I guess, but it's the same thing." He paused. "Can I see your wings?" He'd never seen a person with wings before and he was intensely curious. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Jason closed his eyes, and the air started whirling around him, lifting him up until he was several feet above the ground. Then it set him down again. "It's my dad. Jupiter. 	He shrugged. He didn't really want to talk about his mom. "Oh, maybe we could..." He paused, he'd hoped they could go on a date a little sooner than the movie marathon. 	At the mention of going out sooner, Alyssa's smile brightened. "I'd like to see you sooner too. That sounds good to me." She thought about it. "Do you want to go to the theatre or come over and watch a movie at my house? Scott works nights and Ned is generally in his room or at his girlfriend's."
