"Yeah, been there," Murphy said with a wry smile. "Got locked up when I was thirteen for setting somebody's quarters on fire. In my defense, he got my dad arrested and thrown out an airlock. I developed anger issues really young."
And not just because of that, either. His mother had contributed to everything too. She didn't get to skate by on the blame, not in the least.
"Got out when I was... right before I turned 18. Well, not so much 'got out' as 'got used as a glorified test subject' but it's all just about the same."
